Plenty of ways to hang this around the house…and it was an AMAZING addition to the Valentine’s theme going on. SO simple too. I wish I had thought this up myself though. I have yet to become thaaaaat crafty. For now, this is good enough for me.
I’m really happy with my crafting this year, I mean, 2 crafts done in one month or even one year. That is a record for me!
scissors or die cut machine
fabric pen (or normal) for marking the hearts
2. Cut them into heart shapes, like I did with the last heart garland here or you can draw a heart on one piece of felt and lump a few pieces of felt on top of each other and cut it out using the top drawn heart as a guide. I found that to be the fastest way. This part did take me a good hour though because I cut out 105 pieces. Phew!
3. Then with your sewing machine, attach the hearts together, like the picture on the bottom. I tried to overlap the edges of the hearts a little when they were sewn together because sometimes when I didn’t there would be an annoying gap and i would have to redo it.
3. Hand sew this part, you can just put a big stitch between the hearts or hand stitch them all the way through.
