+ My antler shop reopened + a few DIY ideas

My Antler shop is now restocked and re-open after 8 long months! I’m so excited because this time we are including more elk antlers, a set, and a few deadheads. If you live in the Provo Utah area, you can come buy them straight from me! I have a huge elk dead head in my garage. So big I couldn’t take a picture of it with my 50mm and I couldn’t move it because it is pretty heavy (hence this one is pick up only).

Here are a few easy DIY ideas for those who are going to use them in a project…wedding guest book it, jewelry hang stuff on it, yarn wrap it, mount it, hang it, paint it, bedazzle it, flower it, jewelry it, book end it, etc. What have I done with my antlers you ask? Well, I have hung 4 dead heads around my home, I made one a ring holder, I glued chunky gold all over it to go with my nutcrackers for Christmas decor, and last, I have a big heap of these pretty things, natural and mint painted laying under a table in my front room. And I could definitely keep going.

  1. I have prints of Georgia O’Keefe that are much like some of your work, many of which I would love to own. BUT, I am in Canada and I doubt if these works could be able to cross the border **sigh**. I will admire them on line and covet their possession.

  2. Love all those ideas!

  3. hi! I was just wondering, do you have a “diy” for the necklace with the little cute skulls?
I really liked it :-) -Ella

I was just wondering, do you use real elk antlers and skulls from real dead elks?

    • I use real dead head and real antlers yes. My husband finds them out in the mountains. We don’t kill anything…the antlers naturally fall off every year and my husband hikes around and finds them. Cool huh? Then the animals grow them back bigger and stronger the next year just to shed them off again. Super cool.

  5. Love your site! I think I’ve decided to make an antler wedding guest sign-in. Any suggestions as to how to do this? Treat and paint first? Natural? Thank you! –Ashley
