Super easy skirt, that looks so complicated. I love how feminine and pretty it is, and the best part…its a wrap! No zipper! Yay! I made this within my baby’s naptime and I am obsessed. I can tell my husband is too because he told me I was looking pretty, aka, he likes it a lot.

top: Sosie c/o     skirt: self-made     jacket: guess   shoes: steve madden

Supplies:
2+ yard of fabric. I used a stiffer fabric to emphasize the pleats.

Instructions:
full pleated skirt

  16. Your skirt is really lovely! Not surprised your hubby likes you in it. I will try it, but I do suspect that my legs may not quite do it the justice yours do it!

  17. Allison says:

I finally made this with some chevron polyester. It made a great, swingy, summer skirt and the wrap gives plenty of coverage instead of making a lining. I love it!

  18. what exactly kind of fabric did you use?

  19. Happygirl says:

Oooh, this is gorgeous, as a wheelchair user am always looking for a design that will drape beautifully when sat down, giving that sumptious look whilest keeping me modest, if you know what I mean! Eagerly awaiting your next pattern…

  20. love absolutely this skirt! perfect color and shape!

  23. I was confused on step 3…Can Anyone Help?

  24. This is so pretty and simple! I love how versatile it is. I’ve been searching everywhere for a simple, yet perfect skirt project for someone like me who is a pretty terrible sewer and this is just the thing!
Just wondering- do you think it would be viable to use snap closures instead of buttons?

  25. Thanks so much for this tutorial! It was a snap to figure out the pleats! I love pleated skirts!

  26. Is there a reason you do not hem it before you put in the pleats? I am a newbie.

  27. One thing I’d like to say is the fact that before buying more personal computer memory, look into the machine in which it will be installed. In case the machine is actually running Windows XP, for instance, the memory limit is 3.25GB. Using over this would simply constitute a waste. Make sure that one’s mother board can handle the actual upgrade volume, as well. Interesting blog post.
