+ - - - - - - DIY maternity circle skirt

This skirt is one of the easiest and quickest things to make in your maternity wardrobe. It is super feminine and makes for quite the head-turner. It emphasizes the belly making your waist and legs look smaller! Thats the kind of help we prego ladies need right?? I paired it with my maternity peplum top (tutorial here), springy wedges and straw hat to boost the flirtiness (despite how I’m not feeling so flirty these days of course). Check out the non-maternity knit version here…wishing I had made a maternity one just like this months ago!

+ - - - - - - DIY maternity tee shirt dress

I wore this dress frequently throughout my pregnancy, it was flattering and very very comfortable. It was great for the winter and now it is carrying through to the spring quite nicely. I would pop on thick long sweater and wool hat with my suede booties for a more dressy cold weather look or I would through on some converse and tie a jean button up around my waist to make it a more casual on-the-go kind of look. One of my musts for the pregnancy wardrobe.

And if you want to shorten it to the, this tutorial works for any length….it will look cute too.

This is a perfect little feminine top for your any day wear! And you can make it with a stretchy fabric or a cotton fabric. I’m in love with how comfortable and feminine it is, it flatters the belly and emphasizes your waist (aka your lower ribs, or your prego waist is what I call it). This dress is a longer darted version of this if you want to check it out here.

Every pregnant lady I know rely on leggings or rather, can’t live without them! So, here is a VERY easy maternity leggings tutorial that only involved refashion a pair of non-maternity leggings and a tank together. It took maybe 10 minutes to make. And I’ve been wearing it almost everyday since. I love the option of having the band go over most of my belly or folding it down again and to make it lower. No need for jeans or belly bands.
